Tynwë

Tynwë is the traditional geographic “center” of Ërdin for cartographers, mainly due to the revolution in navigations technology that began with zealously patriotic intellectuals in the Tynwan nation of Aglondale. As of 3989, Tynwë consists of the following geopolitical entities:

The Commonwealth of Aglondale
The westernmost portion of The Dvirhimmish Empire
The Celenor, northwestern Cobalt Sea, and Waldermark Forest regions of The Federation of Elven Kingdoms
The Kingdom of Färchaia
The Northern Giants’ Confederacy of Orogos
The Republic of Aasimique (“Veil’s Thinning”)
The Republic of Cassily

The Mezzërdinian Sea region is also considered part of Tynwë, but it is difficult (especially for surface-dwellers) to accurately map the borders of states within it due to its ever-changing political landscape. As with Komwë, the sea’s native peoples have been devastated by colonialism and the ambitions of empires both ancient and modern, and it is still struggling to get back on its feet.
